Calf extension and withdrawal buttons can control the massage on calves. Calf extension button give you detailed massage; calf withdrawal button make it become a single person sofa since the calf massage frame goes back into the bottom of the sofa, which also saves space at home, so it is really a lovely and considerate massage sofa.
